Her love for dance has been an important part of her life for many years. Being a dancer for 35 years and an instructor for 20 has taught her dedication, perseverance, discipline, team work, passion, and what it truly means to love what you do.

In Lagree Fitness she has found all of these things, a passion to teach and improve balance, flexibility, core strength, and good posture.

Along with running the dance program at Concordia Lutheran Church/School and teaching at Heather Stolle’s School of Dance, Shannon’s goal as a Certified Lagree Fitness Instructor is to help you reach your highest potential safely and effectively.

Jessica Michelle Duffey

Lagree Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor

Jessica Duffey was born and raised in Sharyland, Texas. She attended Texas Christian University and Texas State University where she studied Communications. However, she always had a love for fitness starting at a very young age. Jessica began to make fitness and health a permanent lifestyle in 2009. Since, she had found such joy with her new life style changes, she decided she wanted to be able to help others find the same kind of happiness and understanding of health and fitness. Jessica became a personal trainer and shortly after in 2012, discovered the beauty of Pilates. She co-owned and instructed classes at “The Firm Studio” in McAllen, Tx for two and a half years. While loving the benefits Pilates offered, she still felt the need to do additional training so would consistently make trips to the gym. In 2015, she was introduced to the Lagree method and was instantly hooked. It offered her that extra “kick” in a workout that Pilates didn’t. Jessica knew one day she would teach Lagree. She moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2016 for better opportunities and was ecstatic to join the Core Physique Studios family. Jessica is passionate about the Lagree method and stands firmly behind this statement: “Practicing Pilates made me feel beautiful/strong and weight training made me feel sexy/strong; Now, I train Lagree and I feel both.”
